Wavemaker, created from the merger of MEC and Maxus, officially opens for business in Australia

Peter Vogel_WM (2).jpgWavemaker, GroupM’s new global billion-dollar revenue, media, content and technology agency created from the merger of MEC and Maxus opens for business today in Australia.

 

Wavemaker Australia will open with a team of 343 across four offices in Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane, led by the recently announced new CEO Peter Vogel (left). The agency will service a portfolio of clients including Nestlé, South Australian Government, Vodafone and Hungry Jack’s.

Wavemaker will have offices in 90 countries with over 8,500 employees. Major global clients include L’Oréal, Vodafone, Marriott, Colgate-Palmolive and Paramount.
