Dr Chris Brown says 'make the comparison with Canstar' in new TV campaign via Noisy Beast

Canstar and Chris Brown.jpgAustralian financial comparison site Canstar has launched its second major above the line advertising campaign via Noisy Beast, in partnership with Network Ten's program, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

Canstar has teamed up with I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! co-host, veterinarian and author, Dr Chris Brown to encourage Australians to be the jungle King or Queen of their home loan decision.

The campaign, which is running from this week on Network Ten's national free-to-air TV, will be supported by social media and other digital marketing activities across the Canstar site.

Says Sara Tweedly, group executive, digital and marketing at Canstar: "This is only the second time in the brand's 25-year history that we've committed to running a big advertising campaign.

"We're serious about letting more Australians know that Canstar offers more than well-researched Star Ratings; we compare more brands than anyone else and help consumers easily and confidently find the right home loan for them."

The campaign concept is centred on the home loan market being a jungle for consumers with a ton of choice and excessive amount of jargon making it feel overwhelming for almost any borrower.  

Says Tweedly: "For many Australians, the analogy of the jungle being overwhelming on your own often rings true of the home loan market. The concept for this campaign is that the home loan market doesn't feel like a jungle with Canstar; our team of experts have compared over 4,000 home loans giving each a Star Rating, meaning we've done the hard work for you.
"We were especially thrilled to be partnering with Dr Chris Brown. Chris is a genuine guy, authentic, factual and has a propensity to help, which aligns well with our brand positioning."

Noisy Beast is behind the creative and production, which sees Dr Chris Brown making his way out of the jungle ferns and onto the regal Canstar teal coloured carpet.

He comments: "Home loans. Comparison sites...It's a jungle out there" before assuring the audience that with Canstar you can be the King or Queen of your home loan jungle. Taking his place on the jungle throne, a sure-looking Dr Chris Brown throws it to the audience to ask how their home loan compares, and encourages Australians to make the comparison with Canstar.
