So when approached by Luminoso Recruitment to create a targeted recruitment and awareness campaign on a tight dime, Brisbane-based creative agency Brother & Co., realised one of these sites could become the perfect channel to target the advertising industry. Enter Hardy Audio.

Says Jason Kempen, senior creative, Brother & Co: “As soon as we shared the idea with Hardy Audio, the VO artists jumped at it. Working directly with them, we re-recorded every generic soft sell, hard sell, corporate and natural demo read on the site. The new demos still allowed the artists to showcase their range, but instead of being a compilation of audio clips, listeners now heard cheeky radio ads targeting them.”

 

Simply put, we encouraged creatives to look for their next job while they were looking for their next voice-over.

 

Says Lauren Goodrham from Hardy Audio: “Over 150 different spots across the entire Hardy voice-over inventory were re-recorded, even the kids’ reads -making it arguably one of the largest targeted radio campaigns this year.”
