Gusto CB.jpgStalwart Melbourne soundhouse, Gusto Studios, has relocated to a fresh new premises in Cremone. After 18 years in South Melbourne the Gusto crew recently put the finishing touches on two new large sound studios in a renovated warehouse space at 27 Jessie Street, Cremorne.

Award winning composers and engineers, Colin Simkins and Cameron Giles-Webb, said they’re excited with the move and setting up shop in the burgeoning creative industry based in the Cremorne area.

Says Simkins and Giles-Webb: “We’re both loving the new space and the new studio sound we’re producing. We are really looking forward to meeting some new creative faces in Cremone and sharing a beer (or two) to christen the place.”

Prior to setting up Gusto, back in 1999, with business partner Brigid, Cam and Col enjoyed illustrious careers in the music biz working with the likes of INXS, David Bowie and Bon Jovi.

Over the last two decades, the studio has produced work for some of the biggest brand names in Australia. Most recently, they’ve worked with Honda, Porsche, Spirit of Tasmania, 7-Eleven, Bank of Melbourne, Origin Energy, DON Smallgoods and Garnier.

Their tireless attention to detail, deft crafting and casting, and bespoke compositions have also seen Gusto the proud recipients of much metal. To date, they’ve been recognized at Cannes, D&AD, Spikes, One Show, LIA, and AWARD, as well as snaffling the coverted Gold & Silver Siren.

Beyond the advertising accolades, they have been commissioned on many local and international music and sound design projects, including ABC’s Tomorrow When The War Began, FOXTEL’s Satisfaction and Patriot Games.

The new studio space offers:
