Havas Melbourne appoints Sarah O’Leary as business director + Asier Carazo as strategist

Havas-NewStaff-Group-Feb18 (1).jpgHavas Melbourne has announced its expansion with two new senior appointments across media and strategy. The hires of Sarah O’Leary and Asier Carazo will boost the agency’s capabilities across creative and media business units.

Sarah O’Leary joins as business director in the media team. She will work across Melbourne’s portfolio of clients including World Vision and Momentum Energy. O’Leary has a background in integrated marketing having worked both as a client side marketer and in senior roles in media agencies.

Asier Carazo has been appointed as strategist, working across both media and creative clients in the Melbourne Village. He brings a wealth of experience from working as a brand, channel and digital strategist in Spain, France and the US. This is his third role with Havas, most recently working at Havas Media Spain as a global strategist.

To support the growing team, Joey Newton has also joined as an art director and three further hires have been made in the media team including Kate Gurran as senior account executive and Eva Chen and Toni Penny as account executives.

All new team members have now commenced their roles.
