MADC-0703018 v9 SML (1).jpgAgency of the year at Cannes. D&AD most awarded agency in the world. AWARD Agency of the year. APAC Effie Award Agency of the Year. 9-time Campaign Brief Agency of the Year. More awards than shelf space. Countless clients. Creative opportunities galore. And these guys left it all behind.

Join Elle Bullen and James Orr at MADC Presents on Wednesday, March 7 at The Local Taphouse in St Kilda, as they share the story of four troublemakers who abandoned the safety and fully stocked beer fridge of Australia’s biggest agency to venture into the wild and start their own agency, Sick Dog Wolf Man.

The creative duo will drink the free beer and steal whatever food they can as they share their insights into the adventures, the opportunities, the hunger (both literal and metaphorical) and the rewards that go hand in hand with chasing your dream.

Bullen and Orr have spent the last 10 years creating iconic campaigns together at global networks including Leo Burnett and BBDO. They’ve earned themselves accolades at creative and effectiveness award shows worldwide, including the Cannes Grand Prix for Good for Scope’s “See the Person” campaign. From the conception of the now global Slurpee BYO Cup Day, to their bold and cheeky Bonds “Boobs” campaign, their work has helped define and grow many much loved brands.

They’ve served as heads of Award School Melbourne, taken out the Gold Siren and a trip to Cannes for their Maltesers radio campaign, and been recognised as Creative of the Year at the B&T Women in Media Awards (well, half of them has). Now they’re tackling their biggest creative challenge yet – running their very own advertising agency.
