Oh Yeah Wow expands commercial offerings with new directors and additions to 2D animation arm

Coca Cola - Choose.jpgOh Yeah Wow is continuing to expand its commercial offerings with new additions to its directors roster and 2D animation arm.

2017 was a bumper year for Oh Yeah Wow, with spots for Uber, Optus and Milka amongst their latest projects, and 2018 looks set to follow suit with the addition of new talent to an already strong creative team.

The Katering Show (1).jpgSeamus Spilsbury, with clients such as Coca Cola and Pure Blonde already under his belt, spearheads the new directors roster with his unique skill sets in both stop motion animation and live action. Joining him is Cameron Ford, most notably of The Katering Show fame, who comes on board to strengthen the studios comedy chops.

Along with newScreen Shot 2018-02-08 at 6.56.01 am.jpg directors, Oh Yeah Wow also continues to strengthen its 2D animation team. Celeste Potter, off the back of her work with Chrysler, Honda and Broadsheet, has come on board to lend her art direction skills to the gang.

Everyone here has known each other for years and it’s that shorthand, trust and dare I say without gagging a little, friendship, that has forged the hallmarks of our craft and in turn, our company. We nurture our talent with everything we’ve got so that we can produce the best work possible.”

Says Christina Remnant, producer, Oh Yeah Wow: “The past 18 months or so has been an exciting time for Oh Yeah Wow. Our directors, VFX artists and animators have continued to produce exciting work, both locally and internationally, and we’re ramping up for another busy year in 2018.”
