M&C Saatchi S&E hires ex-Innocean Worldwide’s Ben Greenslade as new general manager

IMG-7802 (1).jpgM&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment has appointed Ben Greenslade as general manager for the specialist sponsorship and experiential agency within the M&C Saatchi Group.

The past two and a half years have seen Greenslade working with Innocean Worldwide Australia as head of sponsorship and events where he led the agency across Hyundai and Kia’s sponsorship portfolios including Hyundai’s leverage of its local and global football sponsorships and Kia’s sponsorship of the Australian Open.

Prior to that, Greenslade was a group account director at DDB, working across Volkswagen, Westpac, McDonald’s and Arnott’s. Greenslade will be an invaluable addition to the S&E Team.

The role will see Greenslade forming a potent partnership with managing director Jamie Gilbert-Smith as part of S&E’s expanding leadership team.

Says Gilbert-Smith: “Ben brings international sponsorship pedigree to bolster our team. We have grown continuously since forming in 2009 and Ben’s addition to the team will see him play a critical role in evolving our offering and continuing that success.”

Greenslade has extensive sponsorship and events expertise, with an integrated agency background. He has lived in Australia for the last seven and a half years, previously living in the UK where he gained experience in major sports properties including the Football World Cup, Olympic Games, The Ryder Cup, Formula 1, the London Marathon and Chelsea FC.
