The recruitment drive makes Deloitte Digital one of the largest digital and creative consultancies in Australia, with over 540 people across the country.

Says Steve Hallam, lead partner, Deloitte Digital: “We are constantly on the lookout for people who are driven by disruption and share our passion for all things digital.

“Beyond the graduates starting with us this week, we currently have applications open to recruit a further 63 graduates and 44 summer vacationers (paid interns) to start at Deloitte Digital in 2019 – this is a huge increase of talent for us.

“We are looking for graduates who think outside of the box, who can help our clients create an experience for their customers that is second to none. Our graduates use innovation and design principles, coupled with the most cutting edge emerging technologies, to create experiences like no other.”

The search for talent follows the successful integration and growth of several businesses that have joined Deloitte Digital in the past 24 months, including Salesforce specialists, Cinder Agency, AR/VR specialists, Kid Neon, AR and interactive developers, Well Placed Cactus and most recently creative advertising leaders Adrian Mills, David Phillips and Matt Lawson, who are building a creative, brand and media offering for Deloitte Digital.

Says Adrian Mills, creative, brand and media lead partner, Deloitte Digital: “We’re colliding the discipline of Deloitte with the power of creativity to build the market’s leading Digital Creative Consultancy. This requires an incredibly diverse cohort excited by the opportunity to build the physical and digital experiences of the future.”

Says Hallam: “We have some of the hottest creative and digital talent in the country working at Deloitte Digital and we want to keep it that way. We are looking for graphic designers, developers, software engineers, strategists, digital marketers, data scientists, service and user experience designers, along with AR/VR specialists to help keep us at the cutting edge of all things digital.”

While every new graduate brings something different to Deloitte Digital, Duyen Ho represents the new breed of talent joining the firm. A front end developer and engineer with Deloitte Digital in Melbourne, Duyen joined as a graduate last year.

With a BA in Media Studies and a Masters in Creative Writing, Duyen started working in arts administration before teaching herself to code. In 2016, she applied for and won a scholarship with Girl Geek Academy to do a 12-week Web Development Immersive course at General Assembly. From there, Duyen applied to join Deloitte Digital.
