Find the Fruit (1).jpgBoost Juice has today announced the launch of ‘Find the Fruit‘, its second gamification app and sequel to the widely successful and record breaking ‘Free the Fruit’ developed by Retail Zoo and Millipede.

Following the success of ‘Free the Fruit’, which saw over 329,889 downloads and 225,970 prizes given away, Boost Juice has launched their second mobile gaming app after two years. ‘Find the Fruit’ will reward players with 1,000 free Boosts and other juicy vouchers every day during the campaign.

Find the Fruit_2 (1).jpgPlayer favourite, Mango Man, who watched thousands of his fruit friends blended into delicious Boost Juice drinks by players he thought were on his side, is back and looking for vengeance! Unable to watch the in- juistice any longer, Mango Man has hidden his fruit friends and taken them underground.

Players must join forces with game hero Janine (yes, expect to see Janine Allis in a new costume) to help her find the fruit ‘fruigitives’. When enough of these pesky ‘fruigitives’ have been found, players will be able to trade their fruit in store to receive exciting Boost vouchers. The more fruit captured, the better the bounty available to collect!

Boost Juice’s second venture into gamification promises a unique and engaging experience that can be played on iOS and Android phones. Using Pokémon Go style functionality, customers are encouraged to walk around to find disguised fruits on their map to interrogate. Players will also have the capability to link the ‘Find the Fruit’ app to their Boost app to redeem prizes and receive in-game bonuses.

Boost Juice’s chief technical innovation officer, Christian McGilloway, hopes ‘Find the Fruit’ will encourage activity and social unity amongst players.

Says McGilloway: “By introducing the augmented surroundings feature to the Find the Fruit app, we’re hoping to encourage players to get off the couch and enjoy the game outside. When players find enough fruit, they can enter a puzzle game which they can play where ever they choose.

“Boost Juice is a brand built on our ‘Love Life’ philosophy, so introducing features to the app that encourage health and wellbeing made sense. We want our players to be active and social, and ‘Find the Fruit’ is a game that is even better when played with friends.”

The ‘Find the Fruit’ app will be rewarding players with over $3.7 million worth of prizes, including 1000 free Boosts a day and discounts available to be redeemed on any Boost Juice beverage.

Joanne Bradley, chief marketing officer at Boost Juice, says the new in-app features and engaging game storyline offers customers a fresh and exciting way to engage with the brand.

Says Bradley: “We know that games play an important part in our customers’ every day. It’s how they unwind, it’s how they socialise. This is a way for Boost to have fun with our customers and build a stronger connection. These campaigns have really increased the length and frequency we’re able to engage with our audience and bring in new customers to the brand.”

Launched in 2016, ‘Free the Fruit’ reached number one on the Apple App Store (free game category) and remained in this position for four weeks. Boost customers enjoyed close to 56 million minutes of gameplay, at an average 173 minutes per user.

‘Find the Fruit’ is now available for download from Apple App and Google Play stores, with prizes available to be won until Sunday, 27 May 2018.
