5.jpgIn between busy commercial schedules, Butchery editor Johanna Scott has collaborated with director Eddie Martin to cut the documentary ‘Have You Seen The Listers?’, which premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival in 2017.  The film is a candid and personal insight into the rise of world-renowned street artist Anthony Lister as he challenges conservative Australia whilst battling his own demons.

The film is garnering great reviews and Scott’s fantastic work has been noted and praised amongst many.

Together, Scott and Martin cut from almost 1000 hours of footage to craft a refined and moving film, with Margaret Pomeranz calling it ‘brave and fascinating’ and ‘a fine achievement for the editor’.

Scott also managed to squeeze a second doco into 2017, cutting the feature I Used To Be Normal: A boyband Fangirl Story, with director Jessica Leski. A coming of age story, I Used To Be Normal is a refreshing look at women as the subjects of fandom rather than the objects. The film is having its world premier at renowned documentary festival, Hotdocs, this month.

Scott’s commercial work has also seen recent praise, picking up gold at the 2018 AXIS Awards New Zealand for her work on NZTA ‘Rat’s Tale’, directed by Finch’s Nick Ball. The spot is also a finalist at the upcoming AWARD Awards.

This year to date, Scott has cut campaigns for notable brands including Toyota, AGN and The Australian Red Cross across both the Melbourne and Sydney Butchery offices, with more in the pipeline.

‘Have You Seen The Listers?’ has screened at several international festivals and is currently on cinema release around Australia.
