MADC Wunderkinds wraps with a party in hell

Screen Shot 2018-04-14 at 1.01.00 pm.jpgWednesday night, the inaugural MADC Wundkerkinds mentor program ended with a folio night and wrap party at Hell Studios, Cremorne.

Wunderkinds shared their new and improved folios with the mentors, MADC committee and other advertising creatives, over a drink.

Wunderkinds was born from the recognition that the gap between learning and earning is widening as agencies increasingly look for young creatives that are employment ready. The program gave the best 2017 advertising graduates a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to have one-on-one access to some of the best senior creatives in Melbourne. It was a 3-month long program but the relationships formed will continue into the future.

My mentor was sensational. Her knowledge, experience and fabulous wit was incredible to absorb over numerous lattes! I always felt comfortable sharing ideas, folio and asking questions. JessScreen Shot 2018-04-14 at 1.01.35 pm.jpg was always honest and gave me detailed feedback, and by detailed feedback – the pure kind that only your mother would give! I feel that I have improved considerably since we first met – my ideas are more refined and my writing more polished. I am so lucky to have Jess as that ‘friend’, when I need to “phone a friend.” How special is that?!”

The MADC will be promoting the program again, later this year to a new crop of Screen Shot 2018-04-14 at 1.01.43 pm.jpggraduates.
