Paper Dragon photographer Mark Rogers returns to Sydney from the set of Hellboy in Bulgaria

Fresh off the set of Hellboy in Bulgaria, Rogers has been photographing film icons Milla Jovovich and ‘Stranger Things’ David Harbour. His photographs are being displayed as part of two gallery exhibitions and are promoting three feature films currently screening in cinemas including Warwick Thornton’s highly accoladed Sweet Country.

Rogers recently photographed Jackie Chan whilst he was in Sydney filming the live sequences of Lego Ninjago at Fox Studios for Warner Bros Pictures US as well as local legend Rose Byrne whilst she was in town filming the feature film adaptation of Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit.

In advertising Rogers has been photographing children as part of the Aspen S-26  toddler shoot for DDB Remedy as well as an extensive portrait campaign of real people for Jack Morton Worldwide’s Australian of the Year 2018 campaign.

Screen Shot 2018-04-09 at 7.35.53 am.jpgRogers’ work has been selected for exhibition at Canberra’s prestigious National Portrait Gallery. Many of his celebrity portraits from iconic Australian films are on display as part of the “Starstruck” exhibition celebrating 100 years of Australian film portraiture, currently touring nationally.
