Gary McCreadie_low res.jpgCB Exclusive – 303 MullenLowe has confirmed the appointment of globally acclaimed creative executive Gary McCreadie as its executive creative director, as revealed by CB last week.

McCreadie boasts a formidable creative pedigree having started his career at BBH London before moving to Sydney in 2009 to join TBWA and Host. Two years later, he was invited back to BBH London as co-global creative director on AXE, which was the agency’s largest and most creatively awarded account at that time – only to be lured back to Sydney in 2014 as co-executive creative director at TBWA Sydney.

Says Nick Cleaver, CEO, 303 MullenLowe: “Gary’s creative credentials speak for themselves – he is responsible for some of BBH London’s most celebrated campaigns and has demonstrated he has been able to continue that award-winning work here in Australia. He’s an inspiring creative thinker and a great motivator of teams. We are really excited to have Gary join us.

“His appointment comes at a pivotal point in 303’s history – over the past 12 months, we have expanded our data and analytics capabilities, joined forces with MullenLowe Mediahub, launched a specialist earned media agency called Creature, while growing our creative capabilities and client portfolio. Gary’s remit is to ensure we are maximising our creative opportunities and delivering outstanding work for our clients.”

At BBH London, together with former partner Wesley Hawes, McCreadie was responsible for a succession of award-winning campaigns for Axe/Lynx, The Guardian, Tango, and Barclaycard. At TBWA, he again made his mark with clients such as David Jones and Foxtel.

Says McCreadie: “I’m really excited to join the 303 team. It feels like a fantastic opportunity at such an exciting time for the agency. I can’t wait to meet everyone properly and get cracking.”
