3and7 director Steve Ayson shoots Spotify’s new global brand launch ‘Love What You Love’
Steve Ayson has teamed up with Spotify’s creatives on two epic movie trailer-esq spots. The new work is part of a major marketing campaign from the music streaming company titled, “Love What You Love.”
Both films drop hugely popular tracks in places they might not normally reside.
‘Chase’ turns a gritty, high-speed car chase into a love session for Myley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball”. While the second spot ‘Horror’ gets spooky around lethally catchy Camilla Cabello’s “Havana”.
Shot in Mexico City, the two films will start rolling out worldwide today through June 21st.

These are bloody funny. Wish I made them.
Beautifully shot and acted.
I wish it was a surprise that Spotify has music people like, but I guess they have to say something.
Oh wait, right at the end, Spotify is now free!
Cunning burial of the news, planners.
what a fantastic opportunity to make great work that turned out super average.
Steve you did good, everyone else, meh.
These are brilliant!
Ah ads! The reason we all got into this in the first place. Good to see people still make them.
@Who knew?
The planning on this is smart. Spotify are a market leader – if you’re going to begin streaming music there really is no other memorable brand to do it with. So the planners have actually done a great job here not to pack the brief with useless and irrelevant info. And Spotify has always been free.
@every creative
The creative on this is excellent, IMHO. Cuts through, highly memorable. You are, of course, entitled to your own opinion, but don’t make the mistake of assuming you speak for ‘every creative’.
the killer one so brilliant!
true its really nice to still see them. They are really fantastic trailers….
