Cannes Contenders: Eardrum

How will Australia perform at Cannes this year? In the lead up to the Festival, Campaign Brief will be showcasing the work we hope will impress the judges…

Eardrum, The Monkeys

NRMA’s campaign of everyday heroism was extended to radio and remained every bit as visual as the TV. Proving how engaging audio stories can be when you allow time for the listener to be the co-author. Great voice acting also helps.

Eardrum, Ogilvy

A campaign with as many ads as there are sore throats. Reminding us that no matter how it began, the way to put an end to it is to put a Soother in your gob. Not only was the campaign kept fresh with 19 different executions, Eardrum injected unpredictable sound design and an unhinged brand voice from start to disclaimer.

Eardrum, Impact BBDO Dubai

The pressure was on to capture a vocal performance that did justice to such a rich visual feast of symbolism. Greed is good, and you can hear him at his seductive, evil best in this brave, epic film.
