Ex CUB national media manager Paul Murphy lured to head of media role at Cummins&Partners

Paul_Murphy-cummins.jpgOne of Australia’s leading media industry executives, Paul Murphy, has joined Cummins&Partners Melbourne as Head of Media.

Murphy brings 20+ years of experience to the role, working agency and client side in Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, across traditional, digital, planning and buying. Having joined from his role as the National Media Manager for Carlton & United Breweries, Murphy led the team through the global media review process.

The hire follows major growth in the media area of C&P’s business as the full-service offering has tripled in the last 6 months.

Before CUB Murphy fronted the media offering at Blue Hive (Ford), was Client Lead at Mindshare Melbourne on NAB and Business Director at OMD Melbourne leading Mazda and Fonterra.

Murphy began his career at full service agency KWP in Adelaide and says he is hugely excited to be going back to a truly end-to-end offering: “Joining the team at Cummins&Partners was a hope that I had quietly fostered since partnering with them on the Fonterra account when they launched in 2011. I admire their entrepreneurial spirit and creativity, particularly the way it has been leveraged into the media space.
