TG-DSCF2262.jpgAward-winning filmmaker, photographer and visual artist Tim Georgeson has joined Moth Projects.

Georgeson’s experience shooting in war zones, at rock concerts and on streets across the globe has given him unique insights into the human condition that translates beautifully into multiple delivery platforms. His reputation for creating emotionally stirring work has been celebrated in the media, the arts and the commercial world. His approach as a director is raw, intimate and real.

Says Jonathan Samway, Moth EP: “Tim’s photography and film direction is surreal and imaginative in style – he crosses the genres of film and photography by merging found moments with fine art. For me, he is that rare creative force that will push boundaries for clients in a time of digital change and media free-fall. He’s also a top bloke!”

Georgeson’s photos have been shown in solo and group exhibitions in Paris, Perpignan, London, Tokyo, FOAM Amsterdam, ICP New York, Olsen Gallery and Stills Gallery. His awards include World Press Photo, Leica Camera & Cannes awards, NY Festival and Australian National Portrait prizes. His work has been featured in the New Yorker, National Geographic, Colors, New York Times Magazine & Rolling Stone Magazine.

Says Georgeson: “It’s pretty cool to be joining a team that has such a distinctive and considered aesthetic – I have always admired the high level of creative output of Moth. Exciting times indeed.”
