Winning Insurer of the Year for two consecutive years is no small achievement, so Budget Direct asked 303 MullenLowe to create a campaign celebrating its back-to-back win as Money magazine’s Insurer of the Year in 2017 and 2018.

The commercial opens the morning after Budget Direct’s celebration at winning Insurer of the year in June 2017. Set in one of Budget Direct’s Queensland based Contact Centres, a diligent employee is determined to collect each and every glittery star that’s strewn around from the night before. The ad follows his relentless journey over the next year until he’s finally found the last gold star… only for his efforts to be outdone by the news and celebration that Budget Direct has won Insurer of the Year again.

Says Jonathan Kerr, chief marketing officer, Budget Direct: “Needless to say, we’re immensely proud to be named Insurer of the Year for two years, back-to-back. It is a huge endorsement of the value that we deliver to our customers, and worthy of a special campaign to spread the word.

“The ad features over 40 stars from across our business and was set in our newest Contact Centre in Queensland.  It gave us an opportunity to celebrate the brilliant people that come together to make Budget Direct the back-to-back Insurer of the year.”

The TV campaign is supported with a significant cross-format Outdoor campaign and Digital Activity.

Budget Direct was also named Money magazine’s Insurer of the Year in 2010 and 2015.
