RR_LogoNoTag_C.jpgLeo Burnett Sydney has been appointed creative agency of record for Craveable Brands, the largest Australian-owned quick service restaurant (QSR) operator. Craveable Brands operates over 560 OPORTO logo_white background.jpgrestaurants across three brands: Red Rooster, Oporto and Chicken Treat.  It is the only QSR restaurant group in Australia specialising in roast and flame grilled chicken.

The agency’s appointment follows a competitive pitch, with a remit that includes strategic, creative, design and digital work across Red Rooster and Oporto.

The incumbent agency was Host/Havas.

Says Melinda Geertz, CEO, Leo Burnett Australia: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Craveable Brands. The client really impressed us with their openness, growth ambitions, challenger mindset and appetite for creativity. We see so much opportunity with these brands.”

Says Nick Keenan, CEO, Red Rooster: “Leo Burnett consistently stood out during the pitch process. They demonstrated an excellent grasp of our business and brand challenges and opportunities, and their creativity and proven track record were obvious strengths. We are excited to see the impact they’ll have on our brands and business.”

Says Bronwyn Powell, head of marketing, Oporto: “It’s an exciting time for Oporto with high growth expectations. Leo Burnett brings the energy, intelligence and talent that we need to drive our brand and customer engagement. They’re a great fit for us.”
