First day of duty.

The Creative Data Lions mix creativity with science and technology. It’s an honor to be on the jury witnessing truly cutting-edge ideas. A big shout out to all the creative teams who unleashed their minds and believe that anything is possible. And a massive THANK YOU to the courageous clients who greenlighted their ideas.

Gym.JPGIn total, we have 547 entries. Almost every single piece of work has tried to reinvent the future of communications and demonstrates the value of creativity in the world. So many of the works submitted look to augment human capability, from using AI to give the deaf and deceased a voice to communicate to using the sense of smell to help in purchase decisions.  Others used the power of the human and social network – a friend of a friend of a friend – to find lost children. To people like my mom and myScreen Shot 2018-06-19 at 8.09.45 am.jpg husband, these ideas are pure magic. AndDoodles.jpg that’s not lost one the jury.

We spend the next two days making our short list. It’s not an easy task. We have jurors from Argentina, UK, US, Netherlands, and Japan on the team. A mix of product designers, brand marketers, storytellers, business strategists, journalists, data scientists and media directors. With our range of diverse backgrounds and work that stretches the imagination, the conversation and debates are heady. And they only get better with rosé.
