Amart Furniture appoints Y&R Brisbane as lead creative agency following a competitive pitch
Following a competitive pitch, Y&R Brisbane has been appointed lead creative agency of record for Amart Furniture. With an emphasis on repositioning the brand through creating an engaging, enduring brand platform, Y&R will be responsible for all Amart Furniture creative duties across brand, retail, digital and in-store.
It is an exciting time for Amart with high growth expectations and aims to expand its business nationally. Y&R’s new positioning and brand campaign for Amart Furniture will launch later this year with the new campaign set to roll out across television, radio, out of home, digital and in-store experience.
Says Pete Bosilkovski, chief executive officer, Y&R ANZ: “To be partnering with one of Australia’s fastest growing retailers is very exciting. Amart came to us with specific objectives, focused on a customer first, creative platform that will stand out in the market place and we are looking forward to delivering that for them.”
Says Rodica Titeica, general manager – customer, Amart Furniture: “Y&R proved to have an unrivalled understanding of our customer and our brand. Their insight-led creative solution and collaborative approach meant that they were the natural partner for us.”
Says Adam Kennedy, managing director, Y&R Brisbane: “The Amart Furniture business has undergone a huge transformation over the last four years. We are humbled and proud to be able to tell that story.”
Says Paul Nagy, chief creative officer, Y&R ANZ: “There’s an overwhelming sense of pride and ambition in what Amart has achieved as a business. They gave us an inspiring brief to create a strong point of distinction (which you don’t get every day) and we’re thrilled to be partnering them.”
This new business win continues the momentum for Y&R following a successful first half with Alfa Romeo and Burger King wins.

‘See you next thursday’ – thinly veiled swipe by the ex-agency? Classy.
It’s sad to see how sour you still are.
Congrats Adam and team. A nice win from what looked like a nice client through the pitch process.
Can we have that old Scandy stuff you don’t need anymore?
Class act.
Congratulations to media merchants for being the actual agency that does 90% of the work.
Wait, what actual business (i.e. dollars to keep the lights on) was won here?
