Ruby (L) and Phoebe (1).jpgIt’s been a big week for Phoebe Sloane (pictured right), taking out the top spot at the AWARD School Melbourne graduation last Thursday night AND winning the prize for the live brief assignment. As the Melbourne winner, Sloane now has a chance to win the National prize, a trip to Facebook headquarters in the US.

And to top it all off, she’s joining J. Walter Thompson as a creative to team up with Ruby Boynton-Boardman (above left).

Sloane graduated RMIT last year and shortly afterward, was accepted into the MADC Wunderkind program, teaming up with a senior industry mentor for three months. She’s been working at The Sphere Agency for most of this year.

Boynton-Boardman has been with J. Walter Thompson as a creative for one year now. Also a graduate of RMIT, Boynton-Boardman has her own jewelry design company on the side and a finger in many creative pies outside of advertising. She’s bright and keen and has grown exponentially since joining the agency.

Sloane and Boynton-Boardman will be a young female team to be reckoned with. Bringing a fresh new perspective to clients’ briefs.

They will report to Annie Price (CD) and Kieran Antill (ECD).
