P5k2X1zw.jpgHomeAway, the new home of Stayz has today announced the launch of its 2018 Holiday Rental Awards campaign via Red Engine and Magnum & Co, which features Wendy Moore and Charlie Albone.

The 2018 HomeAway Holiday Rental Awards will showcase the greatest Aussie holiday homes and aim to reaffirm the brand transition from Stayz to HomeAway, cementing its presence in the Australian market.

Says Simone McDermid, ANZ PR and communications manager, HomeAway: “This is the first campaign for HomeAway in Australia since its transition from Stayz, and the 2018 Holiday Rental Awards is an important time of year for the brand, our partners and our customers to celebrate the best holiday homes in the country.

“Renting a holiday home has been a long-standing tradition in Australia and the Holiday Rental Awards showcases the big, small, quirky, beautiful and conveniently located homes for you to enjoy on your next holiday.”

Both Moore and Albone bring a wealth of expertise to the judging panel with more than 20 years’ experience and will critique 54 homes across Australia in nine different categories including: Family Friendly, Unique, Design, Nature, Indulgence, Urban, Pet Friendly and Hospitality.

Representing the ‘whole home’ with their respective backgrounds, Moore and Albone will bring their expertise to the judging process and announce the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners of each category in late August this year.

Says Albone: “This is a great opportunity to discover some of the best backyards in holiday homes across the country. I’m really excited to see how holiday home owners have used their outdoor spaces to cater for different types of travellers, bringing the indoors, outside.”

Says Moore: “Holiday rentals play an important role in creating unique experiences for us when we travel. What we’re looking for as judges are those special touches inside and out that make a home and ultimately a holiday, special.”

The integrated campaign will feature campaign microsite https://awards.homeaway.com.au/ showcasing content produced by Red Engine and Magnum & Co that will feature on social and digital channels as well as a paid media component with Pacific Magazines.

Both Moore and Albone will feature in all aspects of the campaign that will highlight Australia’s greatest holiday homes and champion HomeAway as the largest holiday rental site in the world and the expert in Aussie holiday homes.

The People’s Choice category gives all Aussies the chance to decide Australia’s greatest holiday rental on HomeAway.com.au and win a $10,000 HomeAway voucher to fund their next holiday adventure.

Says McDermid: “People’s Choice is an opportunity for HomeAway to include every Australian in the holiday rental awards and showcase the vast range of holiday rental properties that HomeAway in Australia has to offer.”

The 2018 Holiday Rental Awards shortlist will be announced on 7th August 2018 with winners of each category, and Australia’s most favourite announced on 29th August 2018.
