Lay Low - Richard Roxburgh and Dominic Breen.jpegAcclaimed Australian actor, Richard Roxburgh (Rake, Moulin Rouge, Mission Impossible II) stars in a new music video for Sydney indie artist, Dominic Breen. Directed by Mint Films‘ Andrew Seaton, the clip sees a lonely character building a mysterious device in his dusty garage. Although the audience is led to believe the device is sinister in nature, the big reveal shows Richard Roxburgh’s character joyously dancing around the house in a glorious light up suit.

The concept was dreamt up by Dominic Breen. Breen’s first EP was released in May 2018 and has already garnered him a lot of public and industry interest.

Lay Low - Richard Roxburgh.jpegSays Nick Mutton, the clip’s producer: “For a first clip, Breen gave a great performance. And his concept proved to be a really fun one for a music video.”

This is the second outing, director Andrew Seaton has had with Breen’s label, Double Drummer Music. Their previous work together, for Sydney band Why We Run, picked up several Best Music Video awards at international festivals.

The clip for Lay Low marks the first ever music video in Roxburgh’s celebrated career.

Says Seaton: “Getting to work with a talent like Richard was an honour. He was so generous and had such valuable insights. Although we only had a short time to rehearse the choreography, he gave 110% and it shows in his amazing performance.”
