The agency will be responsible for the Prevention and Advocacy streams of work as well as fundraising campaigns including the 7 Bridges Walk and Do it for Cancer, to name a few.

Cancer Council is Australia’s leading cancer charity, and the only organistaion that works across every aspect of cancer, from conducting and funding world-class research, to prevention, supporting people as they navigate their cancer journey, and advocating to ensure governments take action on cancer-related issues.

Archibald / Williams executive creative director, Matt Gilmour, was inspired by news of the appointment.

Says Gilmour: “It’s a real honour to start working with Australia’s leading cancer charity. Cancer Council have an epic mission to achieve a cancer-free future and I’d love nothing more than to help them achieve that.”

The agency’s first work for the charity is currently in market driving registrations for the 7 Bridges Walk, which takes place on Sunday, 28th October, 2018. (Registrations are still open at http://www.7bridgeswalk.com.au.)

Says Lyndsey Rice, head of marketing and fundraising, Cancer Council NSW: “We are so pleased to be partnering with Archibald / Williams to take our fundraising, prevention and advocacy campaigns forward. We are delighted with the results so far, and look forward to seeing what we can achieve together as we work towards a cancer free future.”
