The independent Australian agency, with offices in Darwin and Adelaide, has won the two-year contract following a competitive pitch in September this year.

As the lead agency, KWP! is required to formulate sound strategic insights based on ongoing analysis of market research, consumer insights and competitive landscape, and to translate those insights into creative solutions that align with Tourism NT’s objectives, resonate with the identified target audience and reinforce Tourism positioning.

Says David O’Loughlin, CEO, KWP!: “We are excited to be working with such an iconic Australian brand and destination and look forward to implementing our full skillset and experience to deliver fully integrated communications for the Territory. At KWP! we take great Australian brands and connect them with people everywhere. The NT

will be no exception.”

Says Corey Swaffer, ECD, KWP!: “The Territory is a unique product that offers an experience no other Australian destination can compare with. So expect creative that is impossible to ignore, designed to get more visitors to the Territory.”

Beyond its appointment as lead strategic and creative agency, KWP! has also been appointed to a panel of agencies for directed projects.

Says Andrew Hopper, deputy chief executive officer for the Department of Tourism and Culture: “The panel represents who we think will best help us to enhance the destination through a creative approach.”
