Wavemaker promotes Elaine Quirke to new group director – partnerships and creative media role

Elaine Quirke (1).jpgWavemaker Australia has promoted Elaine Quirke to the newly created role of group director – partnerships and creative media, charged with fostering new ideas, collaborative content and partnerships with media owners on behalf of Wavemaker clients.

Quirke steps across from her previous role as Wavemaker’s creative strategy director, which she has held for eight months. Prior to joining Wavemaker, she spent two years as business and strategy lead at Starcom MediaVest Group and was previously luxury and media director at The Wall Street Journal in her native UK.

Other roles included marketing manager at experience design agency Biglight and Commercial marketing manager at the Mirror Group.

Quirke is currently reporting to Wavemaker chief growth and product officer James Hier and will report to national head of content and partnerships Shivani Maharaj when she returns from maternity leave.
