After nine years with Dentsu Aegis Network Simon Ryan resigns as CEO of Australia and NZ

Updated – After nine years with Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN), Simon Ryan has resigned as CEO of Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) and is set to join carsales as its managing director – commercial.

Ryan will continue to lead the business whilst a global internal and external search is underway to identify a replacement for the CEO role. A final departure date will be agreed to in due course.

Ryan was appointed CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network in ANZ in February 2016, after holding leadership roles within Carat for seven years.

It’s now time for me to embrace the next challenge in my life and focus on a different business. Ahead of my departure I will remain focused on our people and clients, and continue to deliver on the ambitious ANZ plan.”
