Blis appoints MediaCom’s Ben Phillips in the position of vice president of strategic accounts

Ben Phillips Blis (1).jpgBlis, the global pioneer in advanced location data technology, has today announced the appointment of Ben Phillips as VP of strategic accounts. Phillips will bring direct agency experience to the senior leadership team. He will be working with clients, continuing to evangelise the strengths that mobile can bring to the marketing mix.

 

Phillips joins Blis at a moment when the company is broadening its technical offerings, including a cutting-edge blockchain pilot platform in partnership with IBM. This platform will take on brands’ challenges around verification and transparency in digital advertising. Blis has also recently expanded its executive team with Diane Perlman (formerly CMO at Unruly) stepping in as CMO, in addition to CTO Aaron McKee, who joined Blis from Job Today.

Phillips is a seasoned mobile expert, with 15 years’ experience. He joins Blis after having spent five years as global head of mobile at MediaCom, working with brands to maximise their media investment by tapping into mobile’s potential. His achievements include growing brands’ mobile spend by over 117%.
