Carat has been appointed to handle media strategy and implementation.

The production billed as ‘one of the world’s biggest shows’ returns to Sydney to play at ANZ stadium in Sydney Olympic Park for four performances, 17-19th October.

Mirroring the spectacular show at Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo will be showcasing military and civilian acts from around the world. First arriving in Sydney in 2005 and again in 2010 to rave reviews.

Says Luca Asrress, head of marketing, MCG: “Edge presented an impressive team with a deep understanding of event & theatrical productions. Edge’s strategy and creative work was a standout winner for us.”

Says David Stretch, managing director, Edge: “After the success of Kinky Boots, it’s great to have another opportunity to work with the team at Michael Cassel Group. Over the years we’ve developed a good understanding of the nuances of event marketing, which we’ll be drawing on. Saying that, this event is like no other: it’s a remarkable blend of music, ceremony, theatre and dance, which I know Sydneysiders will love.”

This win builds on Edge’s strength in event marketing. The team at Edge have already worked on Kinky Boots and most recently The Sydney 2018 Invictus Games.
