Wildebeest finds global audience via Amazon Prime, iTunes + Google Play with World Class List
Working in collaboration with London-based Something Agency, Wildebeest has produced eight full-length episodes of the series, World Class List, along with an extensive suite of supporting content. It has since reached over 100 markets worldwide and is having a lasting impact for the client, Diageo Reserve.
With a brief to find the world’s best drinks in some of the most enviable locations, a small crew lead by director Jarred Osborn traversed the continents, landing in headline international hospitality destinations including Berlin, São Paulo, and London.
The concept was simple – series host Carey Watkins dug in with a local for the week and uncovered the people, places and ingredients behind the world’s best drinks experiences.
The delivery, however, was far more complex with a wide variety of content supporting the 22-minute episodes, which included a range of how-to videos, edits for various digital channels, as well as photography across the entire campaign.
The multi-platform production had a potent execution courtesy of streaming platforms Amazon Prime, iTunes and Google Play, as well as extending its reach through in-flight entertainment.
Through World Class List, Wildebeest showcases the impressive potential of nimble filmmaking and what can be achieved with a dedicated crew who understand how to roll out content that is fit for modern consumption.
