dentsu X Australia appoints Sam Hegg to national managing director role; Angela Tangas takes up executive director of business operations role

dentsu X Australia has announced the appointment of Sam Hegg (right) to the role of national managing director, effective 7 January 2019.

Angela Tangas (left), who has been leading the business since February, has been appointed to the newly-created role of executive director of business operations, Dentsu Aegis Network, ANZ. Tangas will lead DAN’s new Capability Shared Services division – a client first, solution led, Centre of Excellence within the business.

Under Tangas’ leadership, dentsu X has been overhauled to focus on cross-channel specialisation and expertise to deliver value throughout and beyond the customer journey; resulting in a number of key client wins, including Jaguar Land Rover and Australia Post.

In line with this transition, Hegg has been promoted to national managing director of dentsu X Australia from Carat, where he has been an instrumental member of the team for nearly a decade – most recently as chief strategy officer.
