The reservation service is now known as TheFork, with all current Dimmi restaurants now bookable at www.thefork.com.au.

TheFork will soon launch a new TV commercial through advertising agency Workshop Australia and production company Brightworks. OMD Australia is TheFork’s media agency partner.

Operating as part of the TripAdvisor portfolio, the rebrand will see Dimmi join forces with its International equivalent, TheFork. The rebrand provides a huge growth opportunity for the local Australian based platform, with TheFork bookable in 10 European countries, over 50,000 restaurants in the network, 12 million reviews and 19 million visits to the site each month.

The rebrand reflects the company’s passion for the restaurant industry, with a goal to help restaurants boost their online presence to millions of unique visitors each month and get more diners into their venues.

Says Jared Chapman, managing director, TheFork: “Our new brand isn’t just a logo and name change; it will be at the heart of everything we do. Now part of TheFork, we’re more focused than ever on bringing diners and restaurants together for new dining discoveries.

“The introduction of our new brand in Australia reflects the success of the business to date and our exciting vision for the future. We’re committed to helping restaurateurs build their businesses by attracting new customers, digitally managing their diaries and retaining existing clientele.”

The new look will include updating the colour palette, which has been carefully considered to bring warmth to the brand; new photography which will be all about food discovery and the enjoyment of coming together for a meal; and new fonts to reflect the modern brand and bring a sense of discovery.

The rebrand will come to life across multiple customer touchpoints, including the brand’s first national TV campaign in Australia, as well as emails, social media and the bi-annual half price dining initiative, Restaurant Month.

With a network of over 4,500 restaurants across Australia, TheFork helps restaurants boost their online presence to millions of unique visitors each month and get more diners into their venue. TheFork also provides a software solution that enables restaurants to better manage their bookings and help retain customers.

Booking a table has never been so fast and so easy thanks to TheFork. Using the website or app, diners can search for restaurants by area, cuisine, restaurant type or average price; consult ratings and reviews from fellow diners; and make a reservation, 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Diners can also use TheFork to access exclusive benefits including special discount offers and member Reward Points.
