Energy company AGL launches free rickshaw ride to the Australian Open in new outdoor campaign

Screen Shot 2019-01-14 at 11.39.24 am.jpgEnergy company AGL has employed TMS Outdoor to pedal people from Melbourne's Federation Square to the Australian Open festival entrance throughout the grand slam in a newly launched outdoor campaign.

The brand activation will use 21st century bikes to ferry commuters from the CBD to the AO this year, showing visitors from around the world Melbourne's affection for pedal power. The marketing specialists have also seized the unique off-site opportunity to make the Australian energy company visible outside of the buzzing international sponsorship war inside the tennis grounds.

Says Jamima White, head of marketing for AGL: "AGL is excited to be offering this free pedicabs shuttle service to tennis fans as a way to get to the Australian Open."
