Pause Fest 2019 final line-up released

Held at Melbourne’s iconic Federation Square, the upcoming festival will welcome speakers from Atlassian, Google, Amazon, CERN, R/GA, B Lab ANZ, YouTube, IBM, Facebook, Tiffany&Co, NASA, Adobe, Microsoft, Movember, Wired UK and Airbnb, alongside 200 future builders and innovators.

The world’s leading creativity infused business event for future founders, explorers and leaders will run across 6 – 8 February 2019. The festival’s theme ‘The Future Is Intimate’ will focus on topics that analyse human interaction with technology, how it’s challenging our lifestyles, and the exciting new opportunities that will embrace our future.

You could be listening to your favourite speaker on one afternoon, then be sharing a drink with them at the daily happy hour in the Festival Hub. The festival will be spread across seven stages, there is a dedicated stage for workshops, and an interactive expo area called the ‘Tech Garden.’ You’ll also experience a variety of session styles from keynotes, fireside chats, panels, speed dating experts, startup pitches, morning group activities, to debates, all curated with 50/50 diversity in mind. It will be a non-stop action so don’t even think of sleeping. To combat sleep, Pause will even be providing free coffee.

 

PFA19-Retreat-JanPR.jpgFor those that want to delve deeper, there is also the Pause Fest Retreat. Retreat tickets include a Leader ticket to the festival, and three days in the stunning Otway Ranges with one-on-one access to speakers from NASA, Google, InVision and Amazon.

This year, Pause Fest is also going regional. Cecilia Ambros, head of creative, Amazon Advertising US will be heading up the inaugural Speaker Ambassador Program (SAP), visiting the City of Ballarat to chat with and inspire local year 11 and 12 students and small businesses.
