Ant White ANDYs jury photo (1).jpgAnt White, CHE Proximity’s chief creative officer, has been appointed to the jury of the International ANDY Awards. He joins a hand-picked panel of industry creatives including Mónica Moro, chief creative officer of McCann Spain, Andrew Keller, global creative director of Facebook’s Creative Shop and Aussie expat Nick Law, chief creative officer of Publicis Groupe.

The ANDYs shine a spotlight on the global creative work that pushes the industry forward and the talent that makes it, with two unique points of difference.

Firstly, there are no categories. All that matters is the idea. Secondly, the judging process is collaborative and transparent – so much so, that it’s streamed on Facebook LIVE, providing entrants with feedback in real-time.

Says White: “I’m humbled to join this hand-picked panel of amazing people from around the globe. The judging process is a real signpost of where advertising is headed, where we’ll be debating the current state of the industry, ideas and creativity, as opposed to standalone categories.”

Since White joined CHE Proximity in 2016, the agency has won over 200 international creative awards including 15 Cannes Lions, Tangrams Effectiveness at Spikes Asia, Best in Show at Caples and a Grand Clio, as well as awards at D&AD, LIA, The One Show and The Webby Awards. The agency has also been crowned Australian Agency of the Year by ADC, AdNews Australia, B&T and Effies, and is the ninth most creative agency in the world – with White ranked in the world’s top 20 chief creative officers –  as measured by The Big Won rankings.

Says Chris Howatson, CEO, CHE Proximity: “Every day I get to see first-hand how incredibly talented, focused and energetic Ant is. It’s fitting recognition that he is joining the jury of The ANDYs, he’ll bring a lot to the show.”

Founded in 1964 as an initiative of The Advertising Club of New York, The 2019 ANDYs will be judged in March. The deadline for award submissions is February 27. Find out more here.
