Director Uncle Friendly joins AIRBAG

Director Uncle Friendly (Rhett Wade-Ferrell) has joined the directing roster at AIRBAG, based in its expanding Sydney office.

Wade-Ferrell is well known for his creative collaborations across TV commercials, music videos, and long form, with noted work spanning across clients such as Apple Music, Southern Comfort, Bonds, Sunbeam and Flight Facilities.

Says Alex Tizzard: “‘Rhett is such an exciting talent and a top guy. His work has a unique tone with a high level of polish, and I’m really excited to have him come on board.”

Says Wade-Ferrell: “For me choosing a new production company has been like finding a new family. AIRBAG are a unique group of characters that are passionate about filmmaking and breaking the mould. They are a great fit for my sensibilities and it should be a fun new chapter, if god willing my estranged brother doesn’t fuck it up.”
