VHQ Entertainment appoints Greg Petherick Senior Vice President of Television Programming

VHQ Greg Petherick.jpgVHQ Entertainment, a subsidiary of VHQ Media Holdings, has appointed Greg Petherick to the role of Senior Vice President, Television Programming.

Petherick is highly regarded for his skills as a senior business manager and his hands-on approach as an Executive Producer and Director. In his diverse 30-year TV career, he has produced and directed music videos and documentaries featuring celebrities such as Kylie Minogue, The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney, as well as game shows, variety shows, and television commercials.

Petherick most recently served as Senior Vice President at Prime Media in Australia where, above managing the company's Indonesia and Asia business units, he created and launched Moonlight TV, a Sydney-based lifestyle internet TV channel.  As VP Southeast Asia at Becker Entertainment in Jakarta, he was instrumental in bringing game shows such as Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Catch Phrase and Piramida Jakarta to the Indonesian market.

At VHQ, Petherick will oversee VHQ Entertainment's long-form content generation projects as well as spearhead new initiatives aimed at boosting VHQ Entertainment's engagement with the regional markets.  "Greg brings a wealth of experience and access to resources to support VHQ's growing investment in producing high-quality, original multi-platform content, across a range of genres, from dramas to factual  to game-shows to meet increasing demand for such content in the region," said Low Kok Wah, Group Managing Director of VHQ Media.
