Call for entries to the Ad Stars Advertising Festival: Free to enter and $20,000 cash to be won

Adstars_P1030510.jpgThe Busan, Korea-based worldwide Ad Stars advertising festival has released it's call for entries to the 2012 festival and has added new entry categories. Entry to all categories is free and the two grand prix winners will each be awarded a US$10,000 cash prize to go along with their trophy.

Ad Stars 2012, is the biggest advertising festival in Asia in terms of entries. This year organisers are expecting to receive approximately 8,000 entries from approximately 50 countries. Entry details can be found at www.adstars.org.

Ad Stars is open to professionals, amateurs and college or university students worldwide. There is no entry fee and the deadline for entering work is May 15, 2012. Ad Stars 2012 has added new categories for entries in order to meet the changing advertising industry. In addition to Product and Service, PSA, and Place branding, Entertainment; Innovative; Diverse Insights; Effectiveness; Media; and Presentation have been newly added. Mobile, PR, and Design have also been added based on the type of media.

The Festival will be held in Busan, South Korea from August 23rd to 25th. Previous Asia-Pacific winners of the $10,000 cash prizes have been Publicis Indonesia, Special Group, Auckland, Ogilvy & Mather Hong Kong and Colenso BBDO Auckland.
