Simon Dicketts began his career at J. Walter Thompson in 1975 where he took the famous JWT copy test to become a copywriter.

In 1978 he joined Saatchi & Saatchi where he was made group head and then Creative Director.

He has worked with Paul Arden, Fergus Flemming and Graham Fink winning many industry awards both silver and gold at Cannes, British Television Awards, D&AD, British Poster awards, The One show and The Campaign Press Awards where he has won best written advertisement on three separate occasions. His most recent pencil is for the Dixons campaign – which was the most awarded print campaign in the world 2010. (Gunn report)

In January 1995 he was one of the partners who launched M&C Saatchi where he is now Worldwide Creative Director.
