The new team further enhances the agency’s client service capabilities across its expanding client roster, including growth of existing client business from Lion and Nestle and new business wins such as V8 Supercars and MinterEllison among others.

Sally Kissane managing partner said Ogilvy Sydney was enjoying a significant growth surge and the addition of three experienced GADs would ensure the agency’s new and existing clients continue to get best-in-class results across the entire agency team.

Says Kissane: “We are delighted to add Jen, David and Joanne to our already strong client service team. Our client lead roles demand a perfect balance of strategic smarts, ability to drive outstanding creativity, and the relationship leadership to drive brilliant execution.

“We have found these traits in our all three and we are delighted to have them lead some of the agency’s key client accounts and ensure outstanding work that drives real business results.”

In her new role Gledhill takes the reins of Coke, one of Ogilvy’s longest standing and multi-award winning clients; Flanagan’s primary responsibility will be to lead Ogilvy’s expanding Lion business in addition to working across a broader client portfolio; and Biddle’s immediate remit is to expand Shop Small from American Express into its 5th year.

With CX at the core of their remits the team brings both international and local experience across some of the world’s biggest brands to Ogilvy. Gledhill was most recently at VCCP London where she played a key role developing the iconic Meerkats campaign which was awarded ‘Campaign of the year’ in the UK in 2015.  Flanagan has earned his stripes on both client and agency side most recently the marketing lead at Paramount Films; whilst Biddle joins Ogilvy from CHE Proximity, Sydney where she was GAD on a range of telco and travel and leisure brands.

Kissane said the agency’s talent strategy has always been focussed on appointing professionals with skills and experience across many different disciplines in order to meet ever changing needs of clients and their customers.

Says Kissane: “The new One Ogilvy model is working well for our clients as we surround their business challenges with a range of specialists. Jen, David and Joanne’s combined experience on both client and agency-side, coupled with extensive local and international knowledge, means they can each play a key role in developing work that truly works.”

The new appointments are effective immediately.
