The new IKEA “Playin’ With My Friends” television commercial from Mother London has been getting rave reviews around the world – including the best TV ad of the week on Bestads.

Can someone explain why they’ve put in the mirror shot at the end? Ruins it for me.
Brilliant – that’s how you do advertising : )
Hi Robot – I didnt get the toys were adults. It makes it brilliant for me.
Can see why it got the rave reviews
Er Robot they put the mirror at the end so prats would have something to whine about didn’t they?
@Flat Packer, just keep the warehouse tidy and stay away from computers.
This is a delightful bit of fun which lifts and loves the brand.
Well the end is kind of like the end of The Wizard of Oz, isn’t it?
(which is fine.)
But is it a given that kids think of adults as their toys?
Not particularly my experience.
Whatever.
It’s alright, but seems like it’s being over-hyped.
Or maybe it’s the best we can expect of TV ads at present.
With Tim the Tim. This would never have been lauded so much 10 years ago.
Haha wow – love this commercial – they should do a version for the US or just bring this one over. Love me some ikea, and MANY you can’t beat their swedish meatballs 🙂
