Spikes Asia releases final shortlists: Australia dominates Creative Effectiveness + Film Craft; New Zealand pips Australia in Integrated category

dumb_ways_to_die.jpgTonight is the final night of Spikes Asia and the last four shortlists have been released: Integrated, Creative Effectiveness, Film Craft and Print + Poster Craft.

Australia scored five of the seven finalists in Creative Effectiveness with Whybin\TBWA Sydney bagging two, one for MJ Bale ‘Grazed on Greatness’ and one for NRMA. Ogilvy Sydney scored for Coca-Cola ‘Share a Coke’, 303Lowe, Perth for Ikea ‘2012 Ikea Catalogue’ and Host Sydney for Air New Zealand ‘The Kiwi Sceptics’.

Share a Coke.jpgAustralia has four of the 12 finalists in the Integrated category, just pipped by New Zealand, which nabbed five.

For Australia Havas Worldwide Sydney scored for Virgin Mobile ‘Fair Go Bro’, McCann Melbourne for Metro Trains ‘Dumb Ways to Die’, Clemenger BBDO Melbourne for NAB ‘Stand Ins’ and Leo Burnett, Sydney for Bundaberg Rum ‘Road to Recovery’.

Australia also dominated Film Craft, with 29 of the 68 finalists.

The winners will be announced at the Spikes in Singapore tonight and be on the CB Blog around 11.30pm EST.
