FG Entertainment tasks English artist Annemarie Wright to do portrait of director David Denneen

CB 2014 Ad.jpgFilmgraphics Entertainment has honoured legendary director David Denneen by tasking English artist Annemarie Wright to complete a portrait of him using all of the names of people who have worked full time at the production company.

Says Anna Fawcett, Filmgraphics Entertainment EP: “Annemarie is best known for her portrait of Tony Blair created by using the handwritten names of fallen British soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan.

“It was a way of saying thank you to everyone who has contributed to the success of FGE but mainly to say thank you to David Denneen. He is a true filmmaker who has never stopped being creative, inspiring and mentoring us.

“Thank you from Anna, Gillian, Adam, Ariel, Gracie, Marc, Shane, Tracey, Nikki, Morgan, Toby, Alina, The Real McCoys, Jess and Chay.

The portrait has been published in the May/June 2014 issue of Campaign Brief.

Denneen is acknowledged as one of Australia’s top commercial directors and among the best in the world. He has worked with Michael Jordan, Ken Griffey Jr., Shane Warne, Michael J. Fox, Peter Falk, Brooke Shields, Naomi Watts, Derek Jeter, Patrick Rafter, Richard Gere, Jackie Chan, Leslie Nielsen, Sam Neill, Sir Bob Geldof, John McEnroe and Dustin Hoffman to name a few.
