Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity kicks off in Singapore with first eight shortlists announced
Long queues at registration desks greeted delegates on the first day the Spikes Asia Festival which kicked off today in Singapore, with 1800 delegates registered this year.
Australia has performed well at the shortlist released today, scoring 20 out of the 58 finalists in the Direct category; 20 out of 69 in Promo & Activation; 19 out of 50 in PR; 15 out of 56 in Media; 14 out of 151 in Outdoor; 13 out of 135 in Print; 9 out of 31 in Radio and 6 out of the 56 in Design.
A total of 4860 entries were received from 23 countries, an increase of 33 per cent from last year. 703 entries were received from Australia, followed by India with 694 and Japan with 594. Host country Singapore entered 524, followed by China with 448 and Thailand with 411 entries.

And Whybin’s Melbourne got a few as well as picking up the Age.
