Walter Thompson are partnering to launch Think Tank, a program for senior marketers designed to impart knowledge of how to better understand creativity in brand communications, and ensure client strategies are effective in today’s constantly changing business environment.

The customised one-day programme, which takes place on September 9 at Spikes, will allow up to 20 influential senior market leaders to take part in a thought-provoking dialogue with a series of experts. In addition, Think Tank will provide participants with a unique opportunity to network with peers, debate and discuss the challenges each one faces in their business. Delegates will also have full access to the rest of the festival.

Think Tank will be moderated this year by Elena Sukacheva, Managing Director of The Economist Group’s Content Solutions Unit. Sukacheva (pictured above) has a wide variety of strategy and marketing experience. She has worked for Kraft Foods as a Senior Director of Strategy for the Beverages Unit and as Associate Partner at McKinsey and Co, serving Retail and Consumers Packaged Goods clients. Prior to joining McKinsey, she worked as Vice President of Brand Strategy at Leo Burnett, in Detroit, and as an account director at Publicis, in Moscow. Sukacheva started her career as a broadcast journalist on First National Channel in Moscow.

The Asian launch of the program marks the international expansion of Think Tank, which was launched in 2013 at Dubai Lynx and has drawn accolades each year since from senior marketers across the MEA region.

“Think Tank is designed to provide senior marketers with the tools and knowledge to deliver sustainable and durable brand values. This bespoke program has proved incredibly successful with senior marketers in MEA, and we’re excited to extend our partnership with J. Walter Thompson and bring this program to Asia,” said Terry Savage, Chairman of Lions Festivals.

“Think Tank aims to help brand owners unlock the hidden potential of their brand, and develop pioneering solutions for through innovative creative ideas,” said Tom Doctoroff, J. Walter Thompson Asia Pacific CEO.
