Imax launches global brand TVC via Mistress, LA – first commercial ever shot on an IMAX camera
From Los Angeles creative agency Mistress – founded by Aussie expats Scott Harris and Damien Eley – comes IMAX’s epic new 60-second global brand commercial.
The spot was shot over three days in South Africa earlier this year using the new IMAX ALEXA 65 camera – the same camera that was recently featured in the mega-blockbuster movie, Captain America: Civil War.
The spot was shot by Aussie director Ash Bolland via Aussie production company Interrogate.

This is by far the cheesiest and most try hard piece of garbage I’ve seen in a long time. Could have been good but falls short in a big way.
Feels like someone trying to be these films… Like a kid trying to be a grownup but not quite getting it. Could have been funny if this was the aim but it’s definitely serious in a unintentionally humorous way.
very bad
