The Rider Reminder is a unique device that prompts people to think about bikes when it matters most – the very moment they reach to open their car door. Simply placed on the inside your interior car door handle, it’s designed to feel like a rubber bike handle so you instinctively think of cyclists, and open with care.

Over summer, TAC targeted festival goers in an innovative new way. Ticketing websites use CAPTCHA codes – distorted and crowded text – to prove buyers are human. TAC replaced this obscure text with pledges to be safer on our roads. Which meant until users agreed to affirmations like, “I won’t drink and drive.” They didn’t get their ticket.

Stress is fast becoming our biggest killer. Pedigree believes that dogs can help, so they conducted a social experiment. By placing heart-rhythm monitoring technology on owners and their dogs, ‘Hearts Aligned’ showed their dog owners not only syncing heart rhythms with their dogs, but drastically dropping to healthy, less anxious states too. This very tangible demonstration proved beyond doubt that our relationship with dogs goes deeper than any of us ever realised.

There are a lot of things to consider when going solar, like how much roof space do you need? How much money will you save? And is it worth the cost of installing the panels? To make it easier for people to go solar, Origin partnered with Google Maps to create ‘Rate My Roof,’ a simple online tool that for the first time ever let people find out their roof’s solar value just by drawing around it.

Myer Hold Music turned the frustrating act of being put on hold into something rewarding. Over the Christmas period, every second that customers spent waiting, generated royalties which were donated to families affected by domestic violence. So while it’s never nice to be put on hold, Myer Wonderful Hold Music made your wait genuinely worth something.

Amateur football clubs rely on volunteers to keep going. But most struggle to get the help they need. As a sponsor of the AFL, National Australia Bank decided to help find more volunteers. To do this we turned rivalry between AFL fans into something positive. NAB Fanshake pitted fan against fan. Targeting AFL supporters, we asked them to back their team and pledge to volunteer at an amateur club if they lost.
