The Immunity Charm.jpgMinistry of Public Health, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan: The Immunity Charm
McCann Health India
Remote Areas, illiteracy and traditional biases against vaccines mean Afghanistan has a vaccination completion rate of just 50%. Doctors face a lack of immunization history as parents do not maintain vaccination charts.
To counter these traditional biases, we turned to another Afghan tradition. A bracelet, tied on infants to ward off evil forces, now also protects them from disease. The Immunity Charm comprises coloured beads, with each bead being code for a specific vaccine. On every vaccine, doctors add the corresponding bead to the bracelet. The Immunity Charm has helped doctors create real enthusiasm in Afghanistan about maintaining immunization history.
Nugget.jpgProctor & Gamble, Metamucil - Poo Romance: The love story that moved a nation
McCann Health Sydney
Everyone knows that Metamucil helps you stay regular. But most people don't realize that pooping properly can improve our overall health.
The answer lay in a love story like no other. The story between Nugget (a walking poo) and Miss Meta Mucil. Our thinking was people want to improve their health, but they are tired of fads. They want something lasting. Metamucil is perfect, and a lifelong partner. Bringing together Nugget and Miss Meta Mucil in a true romance that blossomed on Facebook and YouTube highlighted them as the perfect stool mates.
